Easy explanation: In Luminescence method, the intensity of emitted light is used to study enzyme reaction. In discontinuous assay, there is a “stop and sample” procedure which is used. The analytical devices which converts a biological response into an electrical signal is referred to as biosensors. The change in absorbance is used as basis for assaying enzymes using spectrophotometer.
