To elaborate: RNA molecules are more labile as compared to the DNA molecules and they are more reactive because of the 2’ hydroxyl group of ribose group. Baking of glassware, treatment with UV can be used as methods for protection against degradation. If precautions are not taken, there is subsequent loss of activity while boiling.
