What is the final product of the RNaseH method?

(a) blunt ended dsDNA

(b) staggered dsDNA at both ends

I had been asked this question in exam.

My question comes from cDNA Libraries, Polyadenylated RNA and cDNA Synthesis in section Libraries Construction of Genetic Engineering

Right choice is (a) blunt ended dsDNA

The best explanation: The final product of the RNaseH method is blunt ended dsDNA. The RNA piece left at the 5’ end is removed by RNase and thus blunt ended dsDNA is left.
