Which of the following enzyme is used as a reagent in cholesterol assay?

(a) Urease

(b) Uricase

(c) Cholesterol oxidase

(d) Lactate dehydrogenase

This question was addressed to me during a job interview.

The origin of the question is Therapeutic and Analytical Uses of Enzymes in division Enzymes of Enzyme Technology

Right choice is (c) Cholesterol oxidase

To explain I would say: Cholesterol oxidase is an enzyme which I used as reagent in cholesterol assay. Uricase is an enzyme which is used as a reagent in uric acid. Whereas urease and lactate dehydrogenase is used as reagent in urea and lactate assays.
