The correct option is (a) True

The explanation: The pH of the combination of ammonium persulphate and phosphoric acid is 2.8 which is more effective than acid lower pH lower than 2.2. It was reported by Simpson in 1987 that the oxidizing agent, ammonium sulphate can be used in conjunction with phosphoric acid to be more effective.
