A beaker, partially filled with a liquid is rotated by an angle 30^o as shown. If the pressure at point B becomes 12 bar, what will be the height (in cm) of the beaker?

(a) 23.5

(b) 24.5

(c) 26.5

(d) 27.5

I had been asked this question in an interview.

I would like to ask this question from Pressure Distribution in a Fluid topic in division Pressure and Its Measurement of Fluid Mechanics

Correct option is (b) 24.5

The explanation: If the height of the beaker is h, the pressure at point B = 10^3 * g * h * cos 30^o = 12 * 10^3kPa; h = 24.5 cm.
