What happens to the value of KLa if the temperature is raised more than 40°C?

(a) Decreases

(b) Become zero

(c) Increases

(d) Becomes constant

I had been asked this question in unit test.

The correct option is (a) Decreases

For explanation I would say: The value of the volumetric mass transfer coefficient decreases as the temperature is raised to more than 40°C. However, in the range of 10-40°C the value of mass transfer increases.
