The explanation is: Endopeptidases are proteolytic digestive enzymes which hydrolyze the peptide bonds between specific aminoacids. Whereas exopeptidases cleave the peptide bond from the ends. Proteinases are those that hydrolyze elastin and other protein present in extracellular matrix. α-amylase hydrolyzes α-1,4 linkages in starch and glycogen to yield maltase.
