The seepage pressure ps with respect to hydraulic gradient i is given by ________

The question was posed to me by my school teacher while I was bunking the class.

I want to ask this question from Seepage Pressure and Upward Flow in chapter Seepage Analysis of Geotechnical Engineering I

Right choice is (c) iγwz

The best I can explain: The seepage pressure ps is given by,

ps=hγw,

if z=length over which head is lost,

∴ ps=(h/z)zγw=iγwz.
