Question is taken from Poiseuille’s Law topic in chapter Permeability of Geotechnical Engineering I

Right answer is (c) RH=R/2

Explanation: The hydraulic radius RH is defined as the ratio of the area of the tube to the wetted perimeter.

∴  RH=A/P=πR^2/2πR

∴  RH=R/2.
