Right choice is (a) 2 to 8 hours

To explain I would say: Wet method of pulse processing includes cleaning to remove dust, dirt, chaff, stone pieces, immature grains and other seeds. The easy to dehusk pulses are soaked into water for a period of 2 to 8 hours.
