Which of the following results in the formation of nitrosamines?

(a) Lactobacillus sp.

(b) Obesumbacterium sp.

(c) Streptococcus sp.

(d) Staphylococcus sp.

The question was asked in an interview for internship.

My question comes from Yeast Propagation topic in division Yeast Management & Microbiology of Fermentation Technology

Correct answer is (b) Obesumbacterium sp.

The best I can explain: Obesumbacterium species results in the formation of nitrosamines from which are carcinogenic in nature. Carcinogenic nitrosamines are formed from nitrites. They are the agents which may also cause cancer in human beings.
