Which of the following effects the yeast?

(a) The high concentration of wort

The question was posed to me in an interview for internship.

My enquiry is from High Gravity Brewing and Glossary in chapter SCADA System for Bioreactors, Beer and Brewing of Fermentation Technology

Right answer is (a) The high concentration of wort

To elaborate: High concentration of wort has an adverse effect on the yeast and fermentation which results in nutrient deficiencies. These deficiencies may be exacerbated by dilution of malt constituents with syrup adjuncts.
