At what height should the transplanting be done in paddy?

(a) 5-10 cm

(b) 15-20 cm

(c) 45-50 cm

(d) 30-35 cm

The correct choice is (b) 15-20 cm

Easiest explanation: For paddy, one should do the transplantation when they are at 4-5 leaf stage which is approximately about 15-20 cm height. We should not delay beyond this otherwise it leads to poor tillering i.e., early flower of the main tillers which will reduce the overall yield of the crop.
