How much area is the cultivable land out of India’s total geographical area?

I have been asked this question in an interview for internship.

My question is taken from Scope of Mechanisation topic in section Farm Mechanisation & Power of Farm Machinery

The correct choice is (c) 166 million hectares

For explanation I would say: India is a vast country, covering about 329 million hectares geographical area. Out of total geographical area, about 166 million hectares is cultivable land and net sown area is about 142 million hectares.
