This question was addressed to me by my college professor while I was bunking the class.

Correct choice is (d) Volute Siphon spillway

To elaborate: Volute siphon spillway consists of a vertical shaft circular in the section provided with a cap covering. It has low priming depth and higher discharge efficiency. It can be provided with an earth dam also.
