The linear velocity of a rotating body is given by the relation

This question was posed to me in my homework.

My question comes from Velocity of a Point on a Link by Relative Velocity Method in section Velocity in Mechanisms of Machine Kinematics

Right option is (a) v = rω

To explain: The linear velocity of a rotating body is given by the relation v = rω

The linear acceleration of a rotating body is given by the relation a = rα.
