(a) Angular Simple Harmonic Motion

(b) Linear Simple Harmonic Motion

(c) Linear accelerated motion

(d) Angular accelerated motion

I have been asked this question by my college director while I was bunking the class.

Right option is (a) Angular Simple Harmonic Motion

To elaborate: When a body is subjected to torsion then it twists by a small angle θ about a vertical axis through the centre of gravity which is generally denoted by G, it will vibrate with simple harmonic motion in a horizontal plane.
