Which of the following is correct about beta particles?

The question was asked in an interview for internship.

My question is taken from Principles of Food Irradiation-1 in division Principles of Chemical Preservation of Food, Principles of Food Irradiation and Food Quality factors of Food Engineering

The correct option is (c) Higher ionization ability than gamma radiation

For explanation I would say: Beta particles have low specific ionization ability and high penetrating power. They’ve higher ionization ability than gamma radiation.
