What is the top width of a trapezoidal channel having depth y, side slope Z and base B?

This question was addressed to me in homework.

My doubt stems from Geometrical Properties of Trapezoidal Section topic in division Flow in Open Channels of Fluid Mechanics

Right answer is (d) B+2Zy

To explain I would say: Top Width = Base+2Zy

T = B+2Zy.
