The correct answer is (b) Pressure = \(\frac{w}{π{r02-ri2}} \)

For explanation: The uniform theory is applicable only when the friction lining is new. The pressure in the new uniform pressure theory is \(\frac{w}{π{r02-ri2}}. \)
