Correct answer is (a) True

To elaborate: The Himalayan Rivers carry huge amounts of sediment because they flow through Himalayan rocks which are soft and friable. The reason is that the zone in which these rivers flow is very much prone to earthquake disturbances causing landslides and increased rock sediment.
