I had been asked this question by my school teacher while I was bunking the class.

Correct choice is (d) Ganga

The best I can explain: Ganga is the Himalayan River because it has its origin in Himalayan mountain glacier called Ganges, it flows through the alluvial plains in Northern India, and it is a perennial river.
