I had been asked this question in final exam.

My query is from Properties of Instantaneous Centre in chapter Velocity in Mechanisms of Machine Kinematics

Correct answer is (d) 4,6

The explanation is: First of all, determine the number of instantaneous centres (N) by using the relation

N = n(n – 1)/2

In present case, N = 4(4 – 1)/2                               (n = 4)

                   = 6.
