In vibration isolation system, if ω/ωn, then the phase difference between the transmitted force and the disturbing force is

(a) 0°

(b) 90°

(c) 180°

(d) 270°

The question was asked in an interview.

My question is taken from Types of Vibratory Motion and Natural Frequency of Free Longitudinal Vibrations in portion Longitudinal and Transverse Vibrations of Machine Dynamics

The correct option is (c) 180°

For explanation I would say: In Vibration-isolation system, If the phase difference between transmitted force and the disturbing force is 180°C, then ω/ωn = 1.
