Where is the surge tank located in a hydroelectric power plant?

(d) Turbine

Right choice is (d) Turbine

Best explanation: In a hydroelectric power plant, the surge tank is located close to the power station. It is mainly close to the ground to reduce the light. The surge tank in medium and high head turbines are located at the inlet of the turbine.
