The best explanation: DEAE cellulose is a synthetic polymer used as a support/matrix in immobilization. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and UV activated Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) are other synthetic polymers. Collagen and Starch is a natural polymer whereas, zeolite is an inorganic substance.
