The correct choice is (a) Anaerobic tank

To elaborate: In Enhanced biological phosphorus removal system incorporated in sewage treatment plants, the main constituent of Enhanced biological phosphorus removal is anaerobic tank which is present preceding to the aeration tank in the system. Sludge system, incinerator, recovery unit are an important part of the system but is not the main constituent of Enhanced biological phosphorus removal.
