My question is based upon Differential Amplifier and Circuit Configuration topic in division Operational Amplifier of Linear Integrated Circuits

Correct choice is (c) AC & DC input signal

Let me simplify it: Direct connection between stages removes the lower cut off frequency imposed by coupling capacitor; therefore it can amplify both AC and DC signal.
