What is the equation of load current for a differential amplifier with an active load?

(a) IL = gm×vd

(b) IL = Iq /2

(c) IL = β×Iq×( Vin1 – Vin2)

(d) IL = 2×gm/( Vin1 – Vin2)

This question was addressed to me in exam.

My doubt stems from Operational Amplifier Internal Circuit topic in portion Operational Amplifier of Linear Integrated Circuits

The correct option is (a) IL = gm×vd

Expand on the concept with: The load current is given as product of difference between input & output voltage and transconductance. Therefore, the equation of load current is ,

IL = gm×vd.
