My question is taken from Types of Spillway Gates topic in portion Spillways, Energy Dissipators and Spillway Gates of Irrigation Engineering

Right option is (d) fixed wheel gates

For explanation I would say: The design and construction of free-roller gate are difficult as the rollers are not attached to the gate and the guide. Therefore, the rollers are attached to the gate. Large vertical lift gates are broken into two horizontal sections to reduce the load on the hoisting mechanism.
