Easiest explanation: Bhakra Nangal is the highest gravity dam in India with a height of 225 meters. It is built across the Sutlej river in Himachal Pradesh. Cheruthoni dam and Indira Sagar dam is also a concrete gravity dam whereas Tehri dam is earthen and rockfill dam.
