I'm obligated to ask this question of Generalised Hooke’s Law topic in chapter Elements of Elasticity of Geotechnical Engineering I

Correct option is (a) 36

Easiest explanation: The generalised Hooke’s law equation connecting the strain to stress contains 36 elastic constants. When there are only 36 constants, then the elastic body is said to be homogeneous.
