This question was posed to me by my school teacher while I was bunking the class.

This interesting question is from Well Point System in division Drainage and Dewatering of Geotechnical Engineering I

Right choice is (b) Auxiliary pump

The best I can explain: For suction of water one auxiliary pump for each two well point in the use should always be available.
