What is the demerit of de-liquoring by gas pressure?

My question is based upon Resistance of the Filtering Cake topic in division Filtration of Food Processing Unit Operations

The correct option is (c) Crack formation

To elaborate: When the de-liquoring is done by gas pressure, cracks may appear which let pass the washing liquid. In any case, de-liquoring should be avoided before the washing.
