I had been asked this question in an interview for internship.

My question is based upon Grit Chambers, Tanks and Vacuum Floatation topic in section Unit Operations for Wastewater Treatment, Preliminary Treatment of Environmental Engineering

The correct option is (c) 0.9m/Sec

To explain I would say: The detritus tanks are able to remove grit and sand particles by having a design velocity of 0.9m/Sec.
