My question is from Inverted Siphon, Storm Regulator and Sewage Pumping in portion Construction of Sewers, Sewer Appurtenances and Sewage Pumping of Environmental Engineering

The correct choice is (b) Overflow weir

The best explanation: In Siphon valley, the siphonic action takes place when the sewage quantity in combined sewer exceeds the fixed level and it get stopped as soon as it falls below that fixed level.
