I have been asked this question by my school principal while I was bunking the class.

My question is taken from Importance of the Distributor in division Fluidization and Mapping of Regimes of Fluidization Engineering

The correct answer is (b) Nozzle

The best I can explain: Nozzle is a cap like structure which prevents the passage of solids through the distributor.
