Which one of the following is the unit of compressibility?

(a) m=N

(b) m^2=N

(c) m^3=N

(d) it is unitless

I had been asked this question by my college professor while I was bunking the class.

My enquiry is from Compressibility and Bulk Modulus in chapter Properties of Fluids of Fluid Mechanics

Right option is (b) m^2=N

Best explanation: k = 1/β, where k= Bulk Modulus of elasticity and β= compressibility.

Thus the unit of Bulk modulus is N/m^2 and the unit of compressibility becomes m^2/N.
