Vane type or Propeller type are which type of pump?

(a) Piston pump

(b) Centrifugal pump

(c) High volume pump

(d) Rotary pump

I had been asked this question in semester exam.

My question is taken from Plant Protection Equipments in portion Plant Protection Equipments of Farm Machinery

Right choice is (d) Rotary pump

The best explanation: Rotary pump is commonly used for low pressure sprayers. It may be Vane type or Propeller type. Rollers may be made of nylon, steel or carbon. When the rollers are in operation, they are held against the case by centrifugal force. Rotary pumps are compact and cheap.
