Easy explanation: Cross sectional area = \(\frac{1}{2}\)*W*h = \(\frac{1}{2}\)*20*20 = 200 cm^3 = 0.02 m^3

Distance covered in 5 h = 2.4 * 5 = 12 km = 12000 m

Therefore, volume of soil cut in 5 h = 12000 * 0.02 = 240 m^3
