What is the melting point of Platinum?

I got this question by my college director while I was bunking the class.

The origin of the question is Cooling System in chapter Fuel Supply and Cooling System of Farm Machinery

Right answer is (a) 1750°C

The best I can explain: Platinum, a metal which has one of the highest melting point, melts at 1750°C
