At what frequency AOL(f)=A?

(a) 50Hz

(b) 10Hz

(c) 5Hz

(d) 0Hz

This question was posed to me during a job interview.

Asked question is from Open-Loop Voltage Gain as a Function of Frequency in section Practical Limitations of Op Amp Circuits of Linear Integrated Circuits

Answer: (d) 0Hz

At 0Hz (DC), the open-loop voltage gain AOL(f) is at its maximum value, which is equal to the DC gain A (or AOL_0). This is the point where frequency = 0 and the op-amp has the highest gain before it starts to roll off at higher frequencies.

The open-loop gain remains constant at this maximum value near 0Hz and then decreases as frequency increases.
