My doubt stems from Causes of Water-logging topic in chapter Water Logged Reclamation and Saline Soils for Agricultural Purposes of Irrigation Engineering

Correct answer is (a) True

To elaborate: The water present in the highlands gets seeped into the sub-soils of the affected areas. This leads to the rise of water table causing waterlogging.
