Correct answer is (a) Direct Irrigation

The explanation is: In direct irrigation system water is directly diverted to the canal without storing water. For this system low diversion weir or diversion barrage is constructed across the river. So, this gives the diversion scheme for direct irrigation system over the other systems of irrigation.
