The question was posed to me by my college director while I was bunking the class.

My question comes from Spur Gears topic in chapter Toothed Gearing & Gear Trains of Machine Kinematics

Correct option is (c) π

Explanation: Diametral pitch, pd =T/D = π/pc

Circular pitch, pc = πD/T

Therefore, pd x pc = π.
