Best answer
Right choice is (a) 593 kJ/m^3

Best explanation: The energy per volume is,

\(\frac{WhNng}{V} \), and for Light compaction test,

W=2.6kg, h=310mm, N=3, n=25 and V=1000 cc.

∴ ELCT=2.6*310*25*3/1000

∴ ELCT=593 kJ/m^3.
