Which of the following is situated above the working chamber in a deep manhole?

(b) Access shaft

I got this question in a job interview.

I'd like to ask this question from Devices Associated with Sewer in chapter Construction of Sewers, Sewer Appurtenances and Sewage Pumping of Environmental Engineering

The correct answer is (b) Access shaft

To explain I would say: The access shaft lies above the working chamber which is just below the manhole cover.
