Which of the following is most widely for packaging raw fruits & vegetables?

(a) PVC

(b) OPP

(c) BOPP

(d) LLDPE

This question was addressed to me in an interview for internship.

I would like to ask this question from Food Packaging Materials in chapter Food Packaging Materials, Packaging Standards and Regulation Laws of Food Packaging Technology

Correct option is (d) LLDPE

Explanation: Blend of polyolefilms –mainly LLDPE is used for packaging raw fruits & vegetables . Film contains pigments to protect it from sunlight. LLDPE is stretchable and transparent, enabling consumers to look into the packet.
