Which of the following is used to pack fried snack foods?

(a) LDPE

(b) PET

(c) PS

(d) PVC

The question was posed to me by my school principal while I was bunking the class.

This interesting question is from Food Packaging Materials topic in division Food Packaging Materials, Packaging Standards and Regulation Laws of Food Packaging Technology

Right answer is (a) LDPE

For explanation I would say: LDPE- Low Density Polyethylene is widely used to pack fried foods. Paperboard cans lined with a barrier polymer such as aluminium foil is sealed with LDPE-foil end.
